Happy Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day at the pool with friends from our Sunday School class. Our teachers live in our neighborhood, so I loaded up the stroller with everything we needed and headed down the street.
Peter enjoyed being outside. He also loved charming all of the ladies! :)

Andrew had to work half a day, but he met us down there once he got off work. It was Peter's first time in the big pool. He was pretty tired, but he still enjoyed himself. The weather was beautiful. We are really looking forward to spending lots of time this summer in the pool!

First Teeth

After a 4 1/2 hour nap (no, that is not normal!), Peter and I went to the mall for a couple of hours. At the very end, we stopped for a "Cheerio Break". :) Here is a video of him eating cheerios. I also got a shot of his new teeth! I've zoomed in on them for you...

1st Baseball Game!

Andrew, Peter, Vinny, and I went to the Round Rock Express game on May 4. Although the Express lost (in the 10th inning, I think), we still had a great time. We sat out on the berm (this big grassy area) so that Peter would have room to play.

We miss Daddy!

Andrew left for New Jersey yesterday. He is in a wedding tomorrow, and he'll be back on Sunday. This is the first time I've been alone with Peter since he was born. We miss him and can't wait for him to come home!!

Peter and I had dinner at Cafe Java tonight. Peter ate pancakes and loved them! I tried to get a video, but he kept looking at everything else going on around him. Oh well...

Sweet, Sleepy Boy

I am thankful for each day that I get to spend with you.

I will never again take those moments for granted.

I cannot imagine what it is like to lose a child. Hearing about Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter getting killed has reminded me just how precious life is. I will forever be grateful for each moment that God gives me with my sweet, little boy.

It's coming...

I noticed it today...a small white tooth emerging from Peter's lower gum. I can already feel it breaking through. What an exciting thing to happen on the very last day of my 28th year!

Just to hold you until I can get a picture of Peter's new toothy grin, here's a picture of my sweet boys.

Mother's Day Card Photo Shoot

Now that Mother's Day is over, I can post some of the pictures from our Mother's Day Card Photo Shoot. We took over 50 pictures...here are some of my favorites.
