We took Peter to have portraits made this morning. Andrew and Peter had given me a gift certificate to Portrait Innovations for my birthday, and we are so pleased with the way they turned out. This was the first time we had tried to do professional pictures of Peter since he started walking - definitely a new experience! He was all over the place! We had a great photographer, though, and he was able to keep Peter smiling. It also helped that Peter had a large variety of stuffed animals to hold while taking pictures. While I looked at all the pictures and narrowed them down, Peter played with everything he could get his hands on. You would think we took him to a toy store!! He took all the stuffed animals from both portrait areas and arranged them on the floor. There were quite a few duplicates, so every animal that had a partner was paired up. Then he sat in the various small chairs and played with rubber ducks and other things. He was so good while we waited for the pictures to be printed. Very cute! The one on the two block is my favorite of him, but I love the family one a lot, too.
